Submissions to the Review of Retail Payments Regulation Consultation Paper
On 28 May 2021, the Reserve Bank released a Consultation Paper setting out a proposed package of
policy actions related to the Bank's retail payments regulation, together with draft variations
to its standards for card payment systems. This followed extensive stakeholder consultation by
the Bank on the matters raised in an Issues Paper published in November 2019. Stakeholders were
invited to provide written submissions in response to the proposed policy actions and draft
standards.
